We feel so fortunate to have found this amazing in-home program at Applewood Learning Tree. Our little guy has thrived here and learned so many wonderful things. More importantly he has a safe and fun environment, with lots of one-on-one attention, to socially interact with other kids his age. As the youngest of 3 boys Bode is trying so hard to keep up with his brothers but at "school" he can have fun and explore at his age-appropriate pace. Our other 2 boys cried and cried when they went off to pre-school and Bode is so happy to go see Miss Sara and his friends. Sara offers a wide range of topics and themes for the little ones to explore so the content is always fresh. We were a little apprehensive at first having never experienced an in-home program before but in hindsight we are kicking ourselves for the opportunity missed for our older kiddos. Sara is amazingly attentive, caring, and in tune with what the kids need. The kids learn an incredible amount of responsibility and our little guys is so proud to show us what he is learning. Hands down, I cannot recommend ALT enough. You are welcome to contact me anytime to chat in person.

We are so grateful to have found Applewood Learning Tree. Ms. Sara goes above and beyond with the planning of her projects, and they do wonderful and educational activities that my kiddo just loves. My son can be quite shy, but he feels comfortable at ALT and is always excited to go. The environment is cheerful, clean, calm, and conducive to learning. The outside space is large, sunny and safe/secure and the kiddos are always doing fun activities outside. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Applewood Learning Tree is amazing!! The program provides our son with engaging, thought-provoking, fun activities, while encouraging both independent and group play. We have been beyond impressed with the amount of love, energy and effort that Miss Sara pours into her program and her students. We love sending our son to ALT, where we know that not only is he going to have a fun day, but he is also going to be learning and developing new skills. All while enjoying healthy and nutritious snacks. The biggest testimonial of all comes from our son himself, who is delighted and practically dragging us out the door on "school days" and then excitedly talking about everything he did after we pick him up. We feel so fortunate to have found Miss Sara and ALT and can't recommend it enough!

Applewood Learning Tree is exactly what we wanted and needed for our daughter, and was so lucky to find Miss Sara when she first opened the doors of her school. She is the most caring, patient, and sweet person -- she is so much better than I could have even imagined for a first teacher for my little girl. The attention Miss Sara gives to each child goes above and beyond. I have absolutely loved seeing how much Hailey has learned every day, and through ways that I couldn't have even thought of! Her small class is a perfect first "social circle" where she has learned how to develop her first friendships. After two years of sending Hailey to Applewood Learning Tree, my expectations are incredibly high for her next phase of schooling, and I will always compare her future teachers to Miss Sara.

Signing our son up for ALT this past year was the best thing we could have done for him. Prior to ALT he had minimal social interaction and had been in speech therapy for slightly delayed speech. Throughout this past year we have seen his communication and social skills flourish. Each day he comes home and can't wait to tell us about his friends and what he did at ALT that day. It's always a good sign that he never wants to go home at pick-up time because he is having so much fun. We are grateful to have ALT in our lives.

Applewood Learning Tree has been the perfect fit for our family and I wish that we could stay forever! As a former early childhood teacher, I was looking for a play based program with developmentally appropriate activities for 2 and 3 year olds and we found so much more. Miss Sara is the absolute best and she thoughtfully creates the most amazing environment full of love, fun, exploration, and learning. Our son loves school and is excited to tell us all about the themes and activities each day. We have seen so much growth, confidence, and maturity from him academically and socially. I truly cannot say enough good things about this program. Sara is one of the most nurturing and loving teachers and I am so lucky to have found Applewood Learning Tree. My daughter started ALT when she was almost 2, and as a first time parent, I was a bit nervous to send my daughter off to school. Instantly, my daughter made a strong connection with Sara and I've never felt more comfortable leaving my daughter in her care. My daughter is thriving in this program and loves going to school and never wants to leave! If you have the opportunity to send your child to Applewood Learning Tree, I would highly recommend doing so!
